What kind of fertilizer, should I use on my plants and how often should I apply it?

It would be best to use an all purpose organic fertilizer.  If you are using it in wide applications I would suggest GroPower Plus which comes in several medium and large size bags. It is especially effective in heavy clay soils. Espoma, Neptunes Harvest, or most brands of fish emulsion will work well.  There are many brands out there, most work well if used regularly which is key.
